Governator of California Vetoes Equal Rights for Gol Darn Homos

September 20th, 2007

The Governator of California has terminated a bill that would have granted equal rights under the law to fags and dykes. Using Party of Jesus formula number one, the Governator stated that it was not up to the [insert_branch_of_government_recognizing_rights_of_fags] to decide this matter, it should be up to [branches_of_government_not_honoring_rights_of_fags].

Here are some examples of how Party of Jesus Rule Number One is applied:

  • In Iowa, when a court said all people should have equal rights, Party of Jesus Rule Number One said “It’s not up to the courts”
  • In California, when the legislature said all citizens should have equal rights, Party of Jesus Rule Number One said”It’s not up to the legislature”

The important point to remember is that, in order to be a member of the Party of Jesus in good standing, you must always oppose equal rights if it means fags and dykes have rights too.

As a known, practicing California taxpayer I have a message for the Governator, “Ah’ll be Baaack!”

Magic Underwear Mitt Claims to be Biggest Homophobe for Jesus

September 18th, 2007

In the ongoing struggle to lock down the Jesus-based intolerant Fundamentalist vote, Mitt Magic Underwear Romney is now buying advertising time in Iowa to position himself as the homophobe of homophobes. He hates fags more than anybody!

With over 100,000 dead in Iraq, a terribly unpopular war that is costing 10 billion dollars a month, and over 3,700 dead US soldiers who died for Hunt Oil profits, Magic Underwear Mitt knows that gay marriage is the most important issue facing Americans that any Party of Jesus candidate wishes to discuss.

Mitt does not seem too worried about spending 10 billion dollars a month to prop up a 4 year old pack of lies. He is not often photographed attending the funerals of US military personnell that died supporting the oil profits of a major Party of Jesus contributor. As a candidate for the holiest political position in the Party of Jesus, Mitt just wants to focus on the Fear of a Queer Planet. Praise Him!

Mitt does not want to talk about former Fed Reserve Bank Chairman Alan Greenspan, who admitted that the Iraq war is all about the oil. Mitt wants to talk about Adam and Steve.

Help preserve the Sanctity of Magic Underwear, Vote Bigotry, Vote Jesus! Pay no attention to those oil companies making fortunes in Iraq.

Fred Thompson, Party of Jesus Heroic Fact Denier

September 11th, 2007

In a recorded video interview available at Towelroad, the latest Party of Jesus holy bigot to enter the Homophobic Liar of the Year Contest, Fred Thompson, stated that “No legislature in the US has ever passed a gay marriage bill.” Like most Repugnican claims on issues of equal rights for all citizens, this one is laughably stupid. It is also clearly and demonstrably false.

The former Senator and lousy TV actor may have heard of an area in the USA called the State of California. It is in America whether red state bigots for Jesus like it or not. Get over it. The duly elected representatives of the people of California have not only passed a law that would give equal rights that are exactly the same to all persons wishing to marry. In fact they have done so twice.

Using standard Party of Jesus redirection and deceit tactics, Fred Thompson wanted to argue Ad Hominem against the judges who have ruled on numerous occasions against the bigoted and spiteful mistreatment of gay couples. Instead of examining the content of their rulings, Repugnican Standard Technique number one is to attack the person that supports an opposing view, while studiously avoiding any contact with the facts of the matter.

So Fred Thompson, like the rest of the Repugnican crowd, pretends that only “activist judges” support equal rights for all people, and then attacks them for having the attributes he has falsely applied. It’s a blend of strawman and ad hominem deceit tactics.

Part of the typical Repugnican pack of lies on the issue of gay marriage is the claim “It’s not a matter for the courts to decide”, usually with the added caveat “It should be left up to the Legislature”. This strategy makes it more difficult for the Party of Jesus Governator of California. The state legislature, hired to represent the will of the people, has twice now passed marriage equality laws. So far the Governator has only vetoed it once. He certainly is expected to veto the law again this time, because although he has dreams and hopes about returning the Party of Jesus to a more centrist position, when the tires on his Hummer meet the road, our Governator is still afflicted with Party of Jesus hatemongering ideology. And you can’t win by spreading the hate unless you have some conveniently evil people to blame for everything.

And Fred Thompson is also afflicted with the powerful compulsion to kiss the asses of Fundamentalist hatemongers. He has done the math, and there are more Fundamentalist bigots than there are queers, so he panders to the bigotry of his constituents.

It is no surprise that the Party of Jesus would be offering us a choice of one bigot from among a crowd of competing bigots. We have come to realize that all Party of Jesus campaign tactics rely on them having some other group that is evil, with Repugnicans as the only source of salvation. Bigotry sells, corporate profit swells.

Vote Party of Jesus, vote bigotry!
