Who could have ever guessed that a Party of Jesus US Senator would be caught taking money on the down low from a oil company? I’m so, um, surprised?

Alaska Senator Ted Stevens voted against equal rights for gay Alaskans when he supported the utterly hopeless Jesus-Brand Anti-Gay Marriage US Constitutional Amendment, but according to the charges filed yesterday he thinks that Republican Legislators should have Special Rights® to accept a quarter of a million dollars worth of presents from oil companies affected by his Senate votes. Years ago this type of bribery was called a bribe, but to current day Party of Jesus legislators this is just an “enhanced campaign contribution”.

Ted scored $250,000 worth of freebie home renovations, an expensive Land Rover for his daughter, and maybe he also pushed through some fishing legislation that directly benefited his son.

But the most shocking part is that in an oil rich state with lots of oil and oil companies and oil exports a Party of Jesus Senator took “enhanced campaign contributions” from an oil company.

If I did not know any better, I might think that the Party of Jesus was really just some sort of a sanctimonious and hypocritical front for a bunch of greedy me first liars that only want to rape the US economy to fill the pockets of their wealthy CEO pals. But heck, what do I know?

Looks like Alberto “Torture Time” Gonzales did not get rid of all of the honest employees in the Justice Department.

Oklahoma State Legislator Sally Kern, world famous for her psychotic rants about homos being more dangerous than terr’ists, was stopped by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol when she attempted to bring a loaded handgun into the Oklahoma Capitol.

The noted promoter of homophobia and extreme stupidity was not arrested.

We wonder if the ammunition in the Holy Handgun of Homophobia features silver coated bullets, known to be a requirement when trying to stop a homosexual agenda terr’ist trying to recruit a 2 year old child.

Jesus did endorse the use of handguns for the protection of marital sanctity in his famous Arms Deal on The Mount. In fact noted saviour Jesus H. Christ is said to prefer genuine American-made handguns for their superior death dispensing qualities.

No doubt Sally only carries this lethal weapon as a part of her well known efforts to spread the Good News of the God of Heterosexual Love.

News coverage of the event did not indicate if Representative Kern is the only well armed psychotic in the Oklahoma legislature. In Oklahoma they treat crazy people very nicely, they elect them to make the laws.

Rapper Nas has joined forces with ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org to fight the racist smears and other Party of Jesus propaganda constantly spewed by the False News Netork (FOX).

Later today he will deliver petitions with over 620,000 signatures to the propaganda arm of the Party of Jesus.

In joining the protest, Nas cites FOX’s portrayal of the Obamas as outsiders, as well as an on-screen graphic referring to Michelle Obama as “Obama’s baby mama” and the confusing of Obama and Osama by a pundit, who joked that they should both be assassinated. In February, Bill O’Reilly talked about a “lynching party” to deal with Michelle Obama.

While we are not especially fans of hip-hop or rap, we are delighted to see this young man take a powerful stance against the Australian owned network that has struggled so hard to destroy this nation by substituting hateful propaganda and wedge politics for what they claim is news. This kind of active involvement in shaping the world is the cornerstone of representative democracy.

We would support a Constitutional Amendment that would outlaw the ownership of American TV networks by neo-fascist foreign billionaires with a pro imperialism agenda. Heck legislation would prolly be sufficient.

“When FOX talks about lynching the woman who may soon be our first lady and then refers to this wife and mother as a ‘baby mama,’ they are maligning not only the Obamas, but black women and black people across this country,” said James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org, said in the statement.

Party of Jesus Senators Larry ‘Bathroom Troll’ Craig (ID) and David ‘D.C. Madam’ Vitter (LA), both famous for their Party of Jesus Lifestyle Choice of adultery in the public eye, are co-sponsors of a revived Federal Constitutional Amendment measure to protect the Sanctity of Bigotry.

Excuse me, but is this the most obvious case of pandering to bigots since John McCain was caught rimming Reverend Hagee? Larry Craig will be arrested in 10 more public bathrooms and David Vitter will be caught with 12 more working girls before this bill has a snowball’s chance in hell of ever passing one single vote.

The Party of Jesus faithful are deathly afraid of equal rights under the law for all loving couples, sure, that much is true. But with gas prices over $4 a gallon and over 4,000 dead in a war of imperialist aggression based on a pack of lies, the Homo Agenda may not be the most important consideration for Americans not named Sally Kern.

Sorry, Party of Jesus, but the gay marriage card is going to have to go right back to the bottom of the deck. We are not buying it this time around. Want to talk about tax breaks for major oil companies?
